Baking Instructions for Our Frozen Pies

(Do not thaw, bake right from freezer)

                                                   1.  Bake on metal baking sheet

                                                   2.   Brush milk or cream on top crust 

          3. Cut slits in top crust to vent steam during

       baking.

4.  Preheat oven and bake pie at 425 degrees for

      15 mins;  then turn oven temp. down to 350 

      degrees for 45 mins.  Check pie; if puffed up a 

      little and golden brown it’s done.  If not done

      keep baking for another 7 to 15 mins until

      golden brown all over.

 

IMPORTANT– RE: POT PIES:

After baking for gravy to thicken

pre-cut top crust 10mins. before serving.
